	One (1) Year Limited Warranty – Solar Shield® eyewear products are warranted to the original purchaser by FGX International (FGX) for any breakage due to manufacturer’s defects for one (1) year from date of purchase. This limited warranty is only valid with proof of purchase from an authorized FGX dealer. The limited warranty will be void if the return does not include receipt as proof of purchase and date of original purchase. FGX will, at its option, repair or replace any eyewear product found to be defective. This excludes damage caused by improper or unreasonable use, and does not cover damage caused by normal wear and tear, scratched lenses, lost screws or accidental damage. Any alteration to the original product will void this limited warranty. FGX reserves the right to make the final determination on whether any damage is due to manufacturer’s defect. Products returned to FGX must be accompanied by the following: 1. A dated copy of the original purchase receipt 2. A brief note detailing the problem with the product and how it occurred 3. A check or money order for the amount of $4.95 to cover shipping and handling costs 4. FGX will not be held responsible for damage cause by improper shipping or non-receipt. Please allow 4-6 weeks for claims to be processed.
