Your lenses matter! You should only clean your lenses with a micro-fiber cleaning cloth. Some textiles, napkins and paper towels are far too abrasive to use and could cause more harm than good. Micro-fiber cloths are specifically designed to remove contaminants without damaging lenses.
A dry micro-fiber cleaning cloth will normally polish your lenses without the need of any cleaning solution. If your lenses become extremely oily and dirty, you should use water or an approved lens cleaning solution.
WARNING: Do not use household cleaners or chemicals. This can permanently damage your lenses!
